ROOM  F  RENDERS

This page contains preliminary test renders from the Learning Sites® 3D computer model of Room F of the Northwest Palace.  This room is most likely a place of preparation for the king before he sat for audiences in the adjacent Throne Room.  The images here are arranged chronologically, with the most recent ones first.

	4F - Room F (using the colored relief F-2 as a model, the other apkallu figures have been colored). Model version 9.
	3F - Relief F-2 (figure of an apkallu, a guardian spirit; original relief in the Williams College Museum of Art) The figure has been colored based on: paint remaining on the relief,  the Assyrian wall paintings at Til Barsib,  the painted fragments found at Nineveh, and  other studies of paint on Assyrian reliefs. Relief F-2 is the darker-tinted bas-relief in the corner (near the center of the image) in rendering 2F, below. Model version 9.
	2F - View northeast inside Room F (this room is the newest edition to our 3D computer model; note that the gray band above the guilloche marks an area of probable decoration, but just what that looked like has not yet been determined). Model version 9.
