This page contains preliminary test renders from the Learning Sites® 3D computer model of the Great Northern Courtyard of the Northwest Palace.  The Courtyard was most likely the entrance to the throne room suite.  The images here are arranged chronologically, with the most recent ones first.

Reliefs' coloration here is based on photographs of similar reliefs published in Christie's Auction catalogue.  Original images are taken from drawings, some of which have dashed lines and areas to indicate missing portions; thus, the irregularity of some of the reliefs' outlines.

Entry D, reliefs D4-D9; detail view

O - Great Northern Courtyard reliefs D5-D9 (re-rendered to simulate carved limestone). Reliefs' coloration here is based on photographs of similar reliefs published in Christie's Auction catalogue.  Original images are taken from drawings, some of which have dashed lines and areas to indicate missing portions; thus, the irregularity of some of the reliefs' outlines.
