Button-shaped appliqué (slightly convex upper surface; back surface flat; sides flat; comprised of three pieces, the middle one white, the upper and lower ones black; the lowest part has a hole for affixing).

Provenance: in the ash found in the northeast corner of the stone pavement in Room 1 (Ashur-nasir-pal building), North Area.

Round buttons (top surface convex; the hole for attachment is under the cap cut into the oval stem of the same bone).

Date: NeoAssyrian (?) c.883-612 BCE

Provenance: In the location of removed fired-brick pavement of Ashurnasirpal II; underneath the buttons was a layer of clean sand placed over the layer of bitumen that covered the in-situ fired-brick pavement of Ashurnasirpal II. Together with the buttons part of a copper knife (N3-74) was found.

Cylinder seal (with partially preserved cap at bottom) depicting a man in a long tunic facing left with a bow hunting an ostrich, also facing left; behind the man or in front of the bird is the ostrich god's symbol.

Inlay panel and affixing nail (panel depicting a kneeling gazelle, facing right, between two palmettes; right part of a palmette at the right margin and right central part of a palmette at the left margin are not preserved); fragment broken into four parts (behind the gazelle is a hole for nailing the panel to a wooden backing; see also Nail #N9-74).

Provenance: In the location of removed fired-brick pavement of Ashurnasirpal II; underneath the fragment was a layer of clean sand placed over the layer of bitumen that covered the in-situ fired-brick pavement of Ashurnasirpal II. Together with the knife blade many buttons (N2-74) were found.

Spear- or arrowhead (flat edge; pointed end broken).
