3D COMPUTER MODELS

One of the goals of this publication project is to understand better the various structures that comprised the Central Palace area on the citadel at Nimrud. At least three distinct buildings had been recognized, but heretofore no one had attempted to determine exactly what these buildings were, how they might have looked and, how they might have been decorated. Our attempts, including interim guesses, are accessible from the upper right local index pull-down menu.

Also, the pull-down menu will provide links to our 3D models of the Rassam and Black Obelisks, both found in the Central Palace area.
